Fatih Hünkar has over 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, with extensive expertise in wireline operations, field engineering, and operational management. He is currently serving as Senior Wireline Operations Manager at Viking International, a role he has held since October 2024.
Throughout his career at Viking International, Fatih has progressed through key technical and managerial positions, including Wireline Operation Manager (2018–2024), Wireline Senior Field Engineer (2014–2018), and Wireline Field Engineer (2010–2014). In these roles, he has been responsible for customer relations, personnel management, operational planning, maintenance tracking, financial control, forecasting, and goal planning, while successfully leading complex wireline operations across Türkiye.
Fatih Hünkar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geophysical Engineering from Istanbul University and a Master’s Degree in Globalization and International Relations from Namık Kemal University, strengthening his perspective on international energy markets, global economic dynamics, and geopolitical factors affecting the oil and gas industry.
He also holds multiple professional certifications, including IADC WellSharp (Wireline Well Servicing), Explosive Blaster Certification, Radiation Safety Officer Certification, and advanced leadership training from FranklinCovey.
