Marwa Hussein has over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. She has spent the past nine years at Viking (from 2017-2026), including more than six years in HR roles, holding the position of International HR Manager and overseeing all expatriate operations across our global locations. Prior to Viking, she began her career in 2008 at Rotana Media Services as a Media Supervisor, gaining valuable experience in media operations, marketing, and HR. From 2010, she worked at Shell Marketing Egypt as a Lubricants Marketing / HR Officer. Over her HR career, she has developed expertise in talent acquisition and recruitment, employee relations and engagement, performance management, HR policy development, compliance and labor law, training and development, conflict resolution, HR analysis, change management, compensation and benefits, communication, negotiation, and emotional intelligence.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in French Literature from Egypt, and she is certified with the SHRM Senior Professional Certification, in addition to completing leadership development. programs throughout her career.
