Onur Demirci has 20 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and currently serves as the Vice President of Turkey Operations, bringing extensive leadership experience across oilfield service, drilling, and workover operations. He oversees operational performance, service quality, business development initiatives, and strategic growth for Viking Services in Turkey, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. Before taking on this role, Onur held senior leadership positions, including Vice President of Business Development & Operations at GYP Energy and Country Operations Manager at Weatherford, where he was responsible for maximizing operational productivity and ensuring alignment with corporate standards across field operations.
He began his career as a Wireline Field Engineer with Schlumberger, building a solid technical foundation that continues to inform his operational and managerial approach. He joined Viking Services in 2010 as a Wireline Field Engineer and continued his career as Operations Manager (2014-2018) and Country Manager (2018-2024).
Onur holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Middle East Technical University and completed professional training at the Schlumberger British Training Center.
